To gun owners, everything is riding on the outcome of the Georgia Senate runoff race on January 5th.
Less than a week from now, Georgia’s voters will take to the polls to choose between the two incumbent Republicans, Senator David Perdue and Senator Kelly Loeffler and their Democrat challengers, Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock.
With just days to go before the big vote, Kelly Loeffler is reminding gun owners of Raphael Warnock’s long record of attacking their gun rights.
On her website, Loeffler’s staff have published a comprehensive list of the anti-gun statements and actions that “activist preacher” Raphael Warnock has made in the past.
“Raphael Warnock is the most radically anti-gun candidate in America who for decades has actively fought to roll back the 2nd Amendment and eliminate Georgians’ right to bear arms. As a radical activist preacher, Warnock lobbied against gun rights both in the Georgia legislature and from his pulpit, where he asserted that “guns make it less safe and not more safe,” and condemned pro-gun laws as the “dumbest legislation.” He has mocked Georgians who exercise their right to carry as “crazy,” vocally opposed Georgia’s Stand Your Ground self-defense protections, and earned the endorsement of every far-left anti-gun group, including Brady PAC, Moms Demand Action, and Everytown for Gun Safety.
And she’s not stretching the truth. Warnock has a history of attacking the Second Amendment.
We reported earlier this year that Raphael Warnock has repeatedly spoken out against guns, gun owners, and even Georgia’s hard-won Stand-Your-Ground law in his sermons. He even mocked Christians who wanted to carry guns in church.
Maybe he never heard of Jack Wilson?
In October, Warnock tweeted about the “epidemic of gun violence, saying, “I’ve eulogized victims of gun violence, and I never want to do it again. We need to end the epidemic of gun violence that has plagued our country.”
Gun owners have certainly heard these sorts of statements from leftists before!
Bloomberg’s Boys!
Of course, Warnock and Ossoff both received endorsements from all the radical anti-gun Bloomberg front groups, including Everytown, Moms Demand Action and more.
These endorsements weren’t revoked even after footage from a violent argument between Warnock and his wife was made public just last week.
The footage shows Mrs. Warnock’s tearful comments to a police officer after a March, 2020 altercation led to the Senate candidate running over his own wife’s foot with his car.
So much for believing women and stopping violence!
The Runoff Race Is Coming To A Head
With less than a week to go, voters in Georgia have a choice to make. If the Democrat candidates take Georgia’s two Senate seats, then the United States Senate will be in a tie — and the Vice President will be the deciding vote.
If Joe Biden and Kamala Harris make it into the White House, they plan to ram gun control down our throats!
Gun owners, this is NOT a race to sit at home.
