President Trump posted an image on his Instagram page last evening that called out the hypocrisy of the radical anti-gun crowd.

This post comes after a week of cries from the left to defund the police. We reported yesterday that Democrat House Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from New York and Ilhan Omar from Minnesota are both pushing this radical idea: pass strict gun control AND defund police.
President Trump wasn’t impressed.

These two posts come on the heels of an interview Donald Trump gave on June 3rd on the Brian Kilmeade Show. During that interview, the president noted that Americans buy guns for safety in uncertain times, yet Democrats want to take them away. He went on to lambast Democrats for being “bad politicians” for supporting “open borders” and gun seizures.
Trump said, “You know, they want to take your guns away except now, more people have guns in the last three or four days than they have in a long time.”
Trump also suggested that American citizens watch the violence on city streets and “they want security and they want safety.” He intimated that they buy guns to gain that safety, yet “Democrats want to take your guns away.”
Trump Nailed It — Americans Aren’t Buying This Crap Anymore
Americans are waking up in record numbers. We’ve reported the sky-high gun sales since January. In fact, in the first five months of 2020, more than 2 million Americans have purchased a gun for the first time. Of that number, more than 800,000 were women!
The left is TRYING to create a socialist tyrannical state. Even Joe Biden — who has largely stayed away from the most blistering rhetoric coming from his party — wants to defund the programs that train and arm teachers in schools.
It’s nothing new to have the left calling for gun control, but to also call for defunding — or even abolishing police — is a call for the nation to descend into crime and anarchy.
The left is cheering their ‘woke revolution’ but freedom-loving Americans are having their own awakening.
They’re not going to take this for too much longer. Republican legislators have run away from controversy or taking a stand for a very long time. But gun owners and freedom-lovers of all colors aren’t going to take that cowardice anymore.
There’s too much at stake.
