This ‘Wizard of Oz’ jingle is streaming on loop in the hearts and minds of hundreds of thousands of gun owners in Missouri as Claire McCaskill has been booted out of office!
While claiming to be a supporter of the Second Amendment, McCaskill had been at war with gun owners for her entire 12-years in the U.S. Senate.
When President Obama needed her to vote to ban AR-15’s, which would have made felons out of hundreds of thousands of Missourians — Claire McCaskill was there.
When Michael Bloomberg needed a reliable midwestern vote for his Manchin-Toomey gun registry bill in 2013 — Claire McCaskill was there.
And when Charles Schumer and Dianne Feinstein needed her to spread lies and smear Brett Kavanaugh as they tried to keep the Supreme Court from leaning more conservative, which would protect the Second Amendment — Claire McCaskill was there.
Every time Missouri gun owners needed her, Claire McCaskill opposed them.
That’s why groups like the Missouri Firearms Coalition produced the digital ad below, to make sure that gun owners didn’t forget about McCaskill’s record.
The ad was seen by over 100,000 gun owners in the state!
Replacing Claire McCaskill with Josh Hawley was seen as a critical step in trying to secure a more pro-gun U.S. Senate, as President Trump has been unable to advance any Second Amendment legislation during his first two years in office.
It remains to be seen what size of a majority the U.S. Senate will have when the sun comes up in the morning as close Senate races in Nevada, Arizona, North Dakota and Indiana still have to be decided as of this writing.
But gun owners in Missouri have done their part, and sent a loud message to the rest of the U.S. Senate at the same time!
