With far-left Democrats calling to defund or even abolish police forces across the country, politicians on the Right seem to have lost the will to push back.
Key Republican legislators –heck, almost all Republican legislators! — are notably silent as the left’s anti-law and order statements fuel the ‘peaceful protestors.’
On Monday, Donald Trump Jr. spoke to the topic of defunding police:
We all want to stop police brutality, but cutting funding to police departments like so many Dems want to do doesn’t stop abuses, it just makes communities (particularly impoverished communities) less safe.
Will those same anti-cop Dems call for their security details to be cut?

Good for him! Donald Trump Jr. isn’t even an elected official but he’s taking a stand for America and the rule of law!
And as usual, he’s doing it b y pointing out the hypocrisy of the left. They live in gated communities and have serucirty details, but the rest of us need to do without gun rights and without cops.
While Trump Jr. nailed that point, it’s not enough.
Republican legislators –you know, those people we voted for because they promised to represent OUR ideas in Washington? — they aren’t doing a thing.
Meanwhile, Democrat House Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar are being proudly vocal about their drastic ideas.
Ocasio-Cortez told Spectrum News 1 that some of the NYPD’s $6 billion in annual funding should be redirected to address systemic racism.
She also essentially called all elected Democrats to join her in her fantasy land or else they weren’t good patriots.
Meanwhile, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota took her statements even further. She said, “The Minneapolis Police Department is rotten to the root, and so when we dismantle it, we get rid of that cancer, and we allow for something beautiful to rise, and that reimagining allows us to figure out what public safety looks like for us.”
Something beautiful has surely risen in CHAZ, the Capital Hill Autonomous Zone in Seattle, right? Citizens being extorted for protection from armed Antifa sounds like a beautiful ‘reimagining’ of public safety for sure!
The Second Amendment Exists For A Time Like This
The left is undermining the rule of law — and all but encouraging violence and looting in the streets. What else can you call it when leftists in the media and the political sphere re-frame the actions of the mob by saying “Nobody listened when they protested peacefully” and “Rioting is the voice of the unheard.”
That’s called victim-blaming. It OUR fault that these people are rioting in the streets.
Never mind that gun owners of all colors have to rely on the legislative process to change laws in their favor.
We noticed that nobody on the left is saying that marginalized and ignored Second Amendment advocates should go riot and burn because the legislative process is too slow and is rigged against us.
No, rioting and burning only works when it’s leftists doing it to accomplish leftists goals — and especially in an election year.
Keep your powder dry, and CONTACT YOUR LEGISLATORS and tell them to get off their lazy rear ends and take a stand for America.
