Richmond, VA — All hell is breaking loose in Virginia, folks.
We mentioned last week how rather than find a compromise with the tens of thousands of gun owners he’s threatened in Virginia, Northam is doubling down.
That was just the watershed moment that Virginia gun owners needed. They responded by nearly doubling the numbering of Sanctuary Counties, bringing the number now to 75 counties. There are only 95 counties in Virginia, total.
That’s 75 counties out of 95 that have said they will not enforce new gun controls laws passed by these radicals.
But Bloomberg’s new Democrats reduced the arguments to threats of force yesterday.
Long time Virginia Rep. Gerry Connolly said yesterday, “I would hope they either resign in good conscience, because they cannot uphold the law which they are sworn to uphold, or they’re prosecuted for failure to fulfill their oath. The law is the law. If that becomes the law, you don’t have a choice, not if you’re a sworn officer of the law.”
Did you hear that? Connolly is not one of Bloomberg’s new shills, but a six-term Representative. And he is threatening prosecution for sheriffs who refuse to violate their conscience, the Constitution, and the rights of the voters in their counties.
But another Virginia Representative, Donald McEachin, went even further. “…and ultimately, I’m not the governor, but the governor may have to nationalize the National Guard to enforce the law,” he said. “That’s his call, because I don’t know how serious these counties are and how severe the violations of law will be. But that’s obviously an option he has.”
Folks, these lunatics are threatening to call out the National Guard on Virginia citizens and sheriffs. Citizens and law enforcement who refuse to bow the knee to their tyrannical new laws.
Herring Tries a Red Herring
Attorney General Mark Herring is busy pretending that the resistance to new gun control is just smoke and mirrors from the ‘gun lobby.’ He recently said in an interview, “The resolutions that are being passed are being ginned up by the gun lobby to try to scare people. What we’re talking about here are laws that will make our communities and our streets safer.”
Yeah, the same NRA that was outspent nearly ten times over by Bloomberg to win this election has somehow mounted an enormous campaign to scare gun owners into overreacting? No, if they gun lobby had the money or ability to do that, they’d have done it to keep Virginia from flipping blue and giving them the black eye of the decade.
Plus, does Herring think he’ll convince people that 75 out of 95 counties are just dumb little sheep who can’t think for themselves? Herring, we’re not following you. And gun owners don’t get led around by the nose.

And to the radical Democrats who would disarm us, Virginia says COME AND TAKE IT. We are Americans! An unconstitutional law is no law at all. We do not obey tyrants. Threats of violence from a bully only steel our resolve.
