Mexico — MeWe reported last week on the discovery of 44 bodies stuffed down a well in Mexico.
These cartel mass graves are nothing new to Mexican citizens.
But it’s different when they’re killed with American guns, sold to the cartel by Barack Obama’s self-described “Wing Man,” former Attorney General Eric Holder.
Mexican police recovered another weapon from Operation Fast and Furious on June 20.
The gun was used by violent criminal gangs in Chihuahua, Mexico.
Mexican police reported that there was a gunfight between two violent groups — presumably rival cartels.
After the shootout, authorities arrested nine people and confiscated ten guns.
After the arrest and processing of the evidence, it was clear that one of the guns was a rifle that traced back to Fast and Furious.
The gun was reported to be a Romarm Cugir GP-WASR 10/63 rifle.
The serial number on the gun traced back to a purchase in Prescott, Arizona.
The paperwork points to a known Fast and Furious suspect, Sean Steward.
Steward purchased the gun in December of 2009, but he has since plead guilty to arms trafficking during Operation Fast and Furious.
As every American gun owner remembers, Operation Fast and Furious was one of several “gunwalking” operations that were launched by our own government.
Dating from 2009 to 2011, it is now a known fact that our government handed thousands of assault rifles and other weapons to Mexican drug cartels.
The Bloody Fallout:
These guns were used to kill Border patrol agent Brian Terry and Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Jaime Zapata in 2010 and 2011.
Meanwhile, under our government’s orders, the border patrol neither stopped nor tracked the weapons flooding into Mexico to the cartels.
We know that in addition to Brian Terry and Jaime Zapata, 41 other people were murdered by these weapons.
But we’ll likely never know the real number of people murdered by these guns.
We’ll also never know how many people were raped or robbed by the cartel with our government’s help.
The next time you hear a leftist crying about gun violence and children being shot, remind them that thousands of our guns are still used in Mexico to commit violent crimes.
Guns that President Obama and his advisers gave the cartels on purpose. Guns that were used to kill American citizens.
