Atlanta, Georgia — On last night’s GPB “Lawmakers” Show, anti-gun Democrat State Rep. Mary Margaret Oliver ripped into House Bill 2, Constitutional Carry, spewing lie upon lie, and even mentioned Georgia House Speaker David Ralston’s opposition to it as a reason to oppose it.
Mary Margaret Oliver isn’t just any anti-gun Democrat. She is Georgia’s second most notorious anti-gunner behind Socialist Stacey Abrams.
In fact in 2016, Oliver introduced House Bill 731 alongside Socialist Stacey that would have ordered the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to ban, confiscate, and destroy firearms, ammunition, and magazines owned by millions of Georgians.

This was one of the top Second Amendment issues in the 2018 election between Socialist Stacey and Brian Kemp.
Fast forward to 2019 and Rep. Oliver is now seen praising House Speaker David Ralston over and over again, encouraging him in his crusade to block and kill Constitutional Carry.
Oliver’s public praise of David Ralston comes on the heels of Mr. Ralston repeatedly attacking Second Amendment supporters who want Constitutional Carry as a “small clique” and “radical, loud. angry, special interest”.
Yesterday this publication produced a report showing evidence that Bloomberg’s Red Shirt Radical brigade on parade at the Capitol in Atlanta actively lobbied against H.B. 2 as they walked the halls of the Capitol, also using Mr. Ralston’s own words as a reason for legislators to oppose the bill.

Of course Mr. Ralston and his effusively praising anti-gun friend Rep. Oliver refuse to tell viewers that 14 states now have Constitutional Carry.
#15 is expected on board next week — Oklahoma — and Kentucky could very well be in at #16 soon thereafter following passage in their State Senate 29-8 last week.
Anti-gunners like Oliver — and those like Ralston who believe her apparently — like to say that blood will run in the streets like “the wild west” if Georgia passes Constitutional Carry.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
FBI statistics show that crime went down in the first three Constitutional Carry states — Alaska, Vermont, and Wyoming — as well as in Arizona which passed almost a decade ago.
The “sky is falling” screams from the anti-gunners simply do not show that is the reality in the actual statistics.
Which again, they would never tell you.
