One thing gun owners had come to expect in life is that weak, cowardly RINOS will sell them out on gun just about every single time. But after 2020, there’s been a palpable change in the air when speaking to gun owners.
Things have changed. They aren’t going to put up with moderate Republicans or RINOS who are willing to sell out their gun rights anymore!
Previously, an ‘A’ rating from the NRA and a mailer around election time showing a staged photo-op of the candidate in a blaze orange vest with a shotgun was enough to get their support, but not any more. The new motto of gun owners is: if you’re not willing to fight like a dog for our gun rights, get out of our pack.
But some Republican legislators apparently didn’t get the memo. Just last week, these twenty Republicans all voted to confirm Merrick Garland as the nation’s newest Attorney General. They are listed alphabetically by their last name.

Twenty Republicans legislators on that list — how shameful! But it’s worse than that, once you look closely!
Breakdown Of Betrayal
First, let’s look at solidly ‘red’ states like Oklahoma and South Dakota. In these states, legislators would face almost no heat from their constituents for voting against Merrick Garland, but instead, BOTH Senators voted to confirm him — when they could have easily voted no without fear or any backlash!
In the ‘red’ state of Missouri, Roy Blunt cast his vote for Garland while Senator Josh Hawley stood firm, and voted to deny Garland’s confirmation.
Secondly, let’s look at the ‘battleground’ states. If any Republicans anywhere are DONE accepting RINOS and their compromise, its the voters in the swing states who watched their spineless legislators bow down to pressure from the left in the last year. The feeling in these states right now is often something like, “Legislators had better straighten up or we’re going to kick every single one of them out of office!” And yet Senator after Senator voted for Garland in the battleground states!
For example: both Republican Senators Grassley and Ernst, in Iowa; Ron Johnson, the only Republican Senator in Wisconsin; Rob Portman in Ohio, and more. And in North Carolina, both Republican Senators voted for Garland!
These were Republican Senators in swing states who just voted to confirm a leftist anti-gun radical!
What on earth do we need Republicans for if they vote like this? How do they plan to convince gun owners that they are worth voting for next election when this is how they vote?!
Simply put, they won’t.
Merrick Garland Is Anti Gun To The Core
We reported yesterday on the radical anti-gun judge that Joe Biden nominated to be his Attorney General. If you haven’t read that article, check it out here. Garland was nominated by then-president Barack Obama to the Supreme Court in 2016, but the Republican-controlled Senate didn’t bring his confirmation up for a vote.
But aside from having one of the most anti-gun presidents in history vouching for him, Merrick Garland is terrible on the Second Amendment in his own right!
During his confirmation hearing, when being questioned by Republican Senator Mike Lee of Utah about his thoughts on Joe Biden’s gun control, Garland said:
“As I’m sure you know, the president is a strong supporter of gun control and has been an advocate all of his life, professional life, on this question. The role of the Justice Department is to advance the policy program of the administration so long as it is consistent with the law. Where there is room under the law for the president’s policies to be pursued, then I think the president is entitled to pursue them.” “
That is to say, for our new Attorney General, if something is the law, he’ll support it. So just as soon as Joe Biden and his cadre of anti-gun friends in Washington, D.C. can ram through gun control, Merrick Garland will back it up!

No Confidence In Our Senators
Gun owners know they are facing a monumental fight in the Senate over three major gun control bills in the very near future. H.R. 8, H.R. 1446, and Dianne Feinstein’s ‘Assault Weapon’ ban are all converging in the Senate. And we reported yesterday when Democrat Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer promised that the bills would come to a vote.
Meanwhile, gun owners just got stabbed in the back by twenty Republican Senators!
