New Jersey’s 2020 Firearm Applications Are Higher Than 2018 and 2019 COMBINED

Trenton, NJ — For citizens of the Garden State, 2020 has hammered home the fact that their anti-gun, anti-freedom Governor Phil Murphy can’t and won’t protect them.  In response to the Corona Scare and subsequent social unrest, rioting and violence, the citizens of New Jersey are filling out applications to purchase a gun in record numbers.

In fact, the numbers for 2020 so far have already surpassed all the applications for 2018 and 2019 combined.  NJ.com reports that “the number of applications this year has increased by more than 137% since last year.”

NJ.com also clarified that “as of August 12, the New Jersey State Police has received nearly 130,000 firearm applications, topping the number of applications the agency received in 2018 and 2019 combined.”

Breitbart News reports:

On July 25, 2020, the Asbury Park Press reported that gun applications “in the state more than tripled from May through June,” with some towns reporting a 1,000 percent increase in applications.

The New Jersey State Police noted there were “26,802 firearm permit applications” filed January 2019 through June 2019. There were 94,954 such applications January 2020 through June 2020.

New Jersey is not alone in this phenomenon, as gun sales have been sky high nationwide all year.  In what feels like another lifetime, the year started with all eyes focused on Ralph Northam in Virginia.  Gun owners nationwide saw what the left wants to do to all of us if they win in November and at the state level all across the country.

Coupled with the Corona Scare in mid-March and the last two months of protests, 2020 is already a year for the record books!
