Richmond, VA—We told you yesterday about Democrat delegate Mark Levine. This guy is a peach. In office nearly five years, he pushes every piece of radically anti-American legislation he can. If you can think of an outrageous assault on America’s values, this guy has voted for it.
He also represents one of the most urban districts of Virginia and thinks he’s insulated from losing his seat.
Levine was pushing for high capacity magazines yesterday. Today it’s a licensing process for every single AR-15 in the state. His bill, HB 961, would make it a felony to own an AR-15 or any “assault weapon” without a license from the state of Virginia.
What is an assault weapon to this America-hating leftist? His bill defines it as “a semi-automatic center-fire rifle that expels single or multiple projectiles by action of an explosion of a combustible material with a fixed magazine capacity in excess of 10 rounds.”
But there are also some cosmetic things that make your gun more dangerous to Levine.
It’s either the gun described above, or it’s any semi-auto rifle with a detachable magazine that has: i) a folding or telescoping stock;
(ii) a pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the rifle
(iii) a thumbhole stock;
(iv) a second handgrip or a protruding grip that can be held by the non-trigger hand;
(v) a bayonet mount;
(vi) a grenade launcher;
(vii) a flare launcher;
(viii) a silencer;
(ix) a flash suppressor;
(x) a muzzle brake;
(xi) a muzzle compensator;
(xii) a threaded barrel capable of accepting (a) a silencer, (b) a flash suppressor, (c) a muzzle brake, or (d) a muzzle compensator; or
(xiii) any characteristic of like kind as enumerated in clauses (i) through (xii).
Guns Like This Aren’t The Problem
Pal, you’ll just take the fun out of anything, won’t you? Do you know how few guys have grenade launchers on the fronts of their AR-15s?
This is just straight up fear mongering. You show me ONE single mass shooting in the history of America involving an AR-15 mounted grenade launcher.
You can’t. They aren’t responsible for a single mass shooting. Heck, I’d bet they’re not responsible for a single shooting, period!
Is this leftist at least asking us to sell out our grandkids’ rights, but willing to leave us be? No. Check out his grandfather clause for those who already own these guns: one year. If you don’t have a license by January of 2021, you’re a felon.
Levine Is Happy for Bloomberg’s Cover
This guy should be shown the door at his next election, folks. This guy hates the America that our grandfathers fought and died for and is doing everything he can to tear it down in his lifetime.
It’s outrageous that Levine filed this bill, much less hopes to move it! And now huge effort will be spent to stop it, if it can be stopped at all. At this point, Virginia’s gun owners should be exerting great pressure on weaker, more moderate Democrats in Virginia. Maybe they won’t be willing to bet their seat on the new, radical guys’ gun control.
