Rome, Georgia — Floyd County Sheriff Tim Burkhalter is still refusing to publicly support a Second Amendment Sanctuary County for Floyd County.
Mr. Burkhalter, who spent his entire life as a Democrat, only switched parties in 2015, when it was obvious to everyone in Floyd County he would lose the sheriff’s election unless he switched over to Republican.
With the Floyd County 2A Sanctuary Rally set for tomorrow in Rome, Sheriff Burkhalter has been nowhere to be found in support of this issue.
Gun owners in Floyd who want Sheriff Burkhalter to come out of the shadows, are encouraged to call him at the number below and tell him to quit playing political games with their Second Amendment rights.
