Iowa City, Iowa — Failed Candidate for Georgia Governor, Socialist Stacey Abrams, is now actively lobbying to be the Democrat Vice Presidential running mate in 2020.
After making a speech commemorating the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage, Socialist Stacey courted questions about her discussion with Joe Biden relating to his VP spot.
The Daily Iowan reports that an audience member asked Abrams if Joe Biden made her an “offer she couldn’t refuse”.
Stacey denied the rumors floating around her discussions with Sleepy Joe but articulated her interest in pursuing higher office in the general election.
“I’m not in the primary, but you can run as second in the general election, and I am happy to do so with the nominee.”, said Stacey Abrams.
Stacey has been contemplating her rise to power for a long time now.
“…when I got the question [from reporters] I was, myself, contemplating my next steps,” she said. “And what I said was, you do not run in a primary for second place, so no, for whatever rumors are out there.
