Baldwin County, Alabama — A mother and her children have emerged unscathed from a home invasion after utilizing a firearm in self-defense.
The children are watching TV when a female enters the home; someone that is not supposed to be there.
The kids rush to their mother to inform her of the intruder.
The homeowner knows the identity of the intruder, and chooses to emerge peacefully from the bathroom to ask the woman to leave.
When the unwelcomed trespasser refuses to leave, the homeowner retrieves a revolver.
After being asked again to leave the house, the suspect reaches for the revolver and is swiftly shot in the abdomen by the homeowner.
WKRG reports that the 44 year old mother who owns the household currently does not face any charges.
