Savannah, Georgia — Bad news out of Savannah, where Republican Mayor Eddie DeLoach is ALL IN for gun control passed recently by the all-Democrat Savannah City Council.
Last month, anti-gunners from Moms Demand Action lobbied the Savannah City Council to pass a resolution supporting Universal Gun Registration, a so-called “Assault Weapons Ban”, Red Flag Gun Confiscation, and Magazine Bans.
Thankfully, the resolution passed by the City Council is just that, a resolution, and can’t be made law because of Georgia’s preemption laws.
But instead of OPPOSING the resolution, Republican Mayor Eddie DeLoach was quoted in the Savannah Morning News saying this:
“But we have to start somewhere.”

It’s unacceptable for ANY Republican in Georgia to actively support Michael Bloomberg’s gun control agenda.
