Houston, Texas – Two men ambushed Lachelle Hudgins while she was sitting parked outside of her home.
Fox News reports two suspects reached through her driver side window, with multiple other men standing around the vehicle watching.
As the thugs attempted to grab her purse, Hudgins pulled out her firearm and fired two shots, hitting one of the men.
“It was all I had in my gun. I shot until I couldn’t shoot anymore,” Hudgins said.
The injured thug was found on the other side of Hudgins’ apartment complex, and was charged with aggravated robbery.
Hudgins was thankful to be armed, crediting her use of force as to why she came out unscathed.
“I saved my life,” Hudgins said.
The way to keep yourself safe in the face of danger is to always carry a firearm.
