Kennesaw, Georgia – Georgia State Representative Erica Thomas (D) made national headlines when she falsely claimed that a man in line at Publix grocery store told her to “go back where she came from”.
Shortly after her overly fake emotional claim went viral, the Democrat Party of Georgia initiated a large fundraising push on what is now revealed to be a fabricated story.
Entitled Erica was confronted by a man in Publix when she selfishly entered the “10 items or less” line with close to 20 items.
The man Erica accused of racial attacks admits to calling her the “B” word twice, but strongly claims that he made no such “go back” related attacks.
After receiving pressure from all directions, Erica Thomas walked back her initial claim.
“I don’t wanna say he said ‘go back to your country’ or ‘go back to where you came from’, but he was making those types of references, is what I remember”, said Erica Thomas.
“So, you don’t remember exactly what he said?” a reporter asked.
“No, no, definitely not.”, Erica replied.
To strengthen her hoax, she took to Facebook live where she emotionally fell apart through a barrage of tears and racially charged claims.
“People are really getting out of control with this, with this white privilege stuff”, she said.
The man called her ignorant in the end, which Erica says, “hurt her so bad”.
The man accused of racially attacking Erica is a professed Cuban Democrat, who recently defended “the squad” and condemned the President’s “go back” comments on Twitter.
National attention on this story resurfaced a 2015 tweet where Erica Thomas designates herself as Jussie Smollett’s “biggest fan”.
This is the same Jussie Smollett that hit the media like a tidal wave when he falsified a hate crime.
Erica Thomas has picked up the torch of the hate hoax movement and has driven any credibility she ever had right into the ground.
The Democrat Party of Georgia not only supported her claim, they sent out fundraising email blasts based on the bogus claim within 24 hours.
Erica Thomas treats her public office like a stage for fake political theatrics.
