Washington, DC — Presidential candidate Corey “Spartacus” Booker has laid out his plan for gun control in America.
In addition to Universal background checks, an assault weapons ban, stricter enforcement of existing laws and more funding for gun violence research, Booker says that America needs a licensing program to purchase and own firearms.
He said, ” If you need a license to drive a car, you should need a license to own a gun”.

Indeed, Corey Booker wants you to beg the government to exercise a right guaranteed by the Second Amendment.
Laid out in his plan, people would have to go to designated outposts administered by the FBI.
The same FBI that visited the Parkland shooter dozens of times and deemed him “Okay”.
An individual would then pay a fee, submit paperwork, a photo, and fingerprints; sit for an interview; pass a comprehensive background check; and go through gun safety training to get a gun.
Even after you have possession of the license, the government can take it away if you, “prove to be dangerous”.

What makes this idea even worse is that this plan would allow states to deny an applicant even if they pass federal requirements to receive a license.
Therefore, if the officer thinks you are “dangerous”, or police know you had “9.1.1” called on you, then they could deny you your right without telling you the reason.
Left-Wing media group Vox goes on to claim this idea has, “solid research to back it” and “real-world experience”.
Nine states currently mandate a license to possess a handgun, including Booker’s home state New Jersey, Illinois, New York, Maryland and other blue states.

However, what the mainstream media will not report is that 15 states have Constitutional Carry, where carrying a firearm without a license is permitted.
This radical idea by Booker is only the beginning of anti-second Amendment stances by the Democratic Presidential nominees.
As the campaign heats up, more and more Democrats will come out with similar ideas, if not more radical than the last.
