Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – In yet another example of the left taking advantage of a tragedy, the Pittsburgh mayor signed city legislation that bans the use of “Assault-style firearms”.
This legislation was introduced shortly after a gunman entered the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh in October, killing 11 members and injuring seven.

This isn’t the first time the city of Pittsburgh has attempted to strip Second Amendment rights.
Roughly 20 years ago, Pittsburgh passed a bill that would regulate “assault rifles” but this legislation was struck down in the courts.
The state court said that only the state has the power to regulate firearm ownership not a city.
Therefore, the mayor of Pittsburgh decided to ban the USE of firearms within the city limits.
This ban makes it illegal to shoot a gun and carry one that is loaded on your person.

Mayor Bill Peduto has said it is time for the city to do something about the city’s gun laws. “If we didn’t challenge laws, women wouldn’t be able to vote,” Peduto said after signing the bill into law.
This bill, in its true meaning, it just another attack on the law abiding citizens.
If a thug is going to kill someone by shooting a gun, then they would be breaking the law. . . by murdering another human being.
Imagine a world where criminals actually follow a law because their mayor told them too.

This is the logic that gun grabbing politicians tell themselves as they push bills like this forward.
Citizens of Pittsburgh have already filed lawsuits that will bring this law to court.
However, no matter what the court says, gun grabbers will not be pleased until the Second Amendment is repealed.
Indeed, bills likes these are only the tip of the iceberg in the lefts quest to destroy gun owners.
