(Nashville, TN) – When three armed robbers burst into this clothing store in a late night robbery attempt, they came in shooting.
But in a bizarre set of circumstances, one of the patrons got his hands on one robber’s gun and returned fire on the armed trio, in fear for his life.
Responding officers found 19-yr-old Damelvian Evans on the ground with critical injuries and said that he died a short time later at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The other two suspects also sustained gun shots from the would-be victim and both admitted themselves into the TriStar Centennial Medical Center with gunshot wounds.
The 22-yr-old customer was not harmed, and immediately called the police after shooting all three suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
