Armed Robbery Suspect Shot by Would-Be Victim

(Detroit, MI) – In an armed robbery attempt caught on video, 29-yr-old Sanchez Quinn pulled a pistol on two men outside of a grocery store last Sunday evening.

But he was not expecting his would–be victim to be armed and possessing a concealed carry permit, and he certainly was not expecting to receive well-aimed gunfire for his troubles.

But that is exactly what happened according to the authorities who are investigating this robbery attempt. The would-be victim, whose identity is being withheld, said, “I turned and looked and saw the other gentleman had a gun pointed at my face, I was able to knock his hand down and the gunfire rang out.”

Quinn was taken to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds and has already been arrested along with an accomplice.

A cousin of the would-be victim was also wounded in exchange, but is expected to make a complete recovery. While the investigation is ongoing, no charges are currently expected against the concealed carry holder.
