Chicago Gas Station Shooting ANOTHER ONE

(Chicago, IL) – Police in Chicago responded to a call of shots fired between two individuals at a gas station in the 7400 block of West Grand Ave., in which 43-yr-old Robert Morales was shot.

The other individual was not wounded in the situation, and police say that he was acting in self-defense and will not be facing charges.

According to Elmwood Police Chief Frank Fagiano, “In the end, it was determined that the individual acted in self-defense. We are happy that no innocent citizens were injured.”

The gas station has a state-of-the-art security system which made it easy to determine that Morales was the aggressor in the shooting, according to investigators.

While Chicago has some of the strictest gun laws in the nation, stories like this underscore the absolute need for citizens to have the ability to defend themselves.
