7-11 Clerk, Shot Twice, Kills Assailant in Robbery Attempt

(St. Louis, MO) – When this 53-yr-old 7-11 employee stepped outside for a smoke break at work, just before 4:00am on Monday morning, she took her concealed pistol with her.

While standing there, the woman was shot by an armed robber and sustained two gun shots to the leg.

But this clerk wasn’t going down without a fight and drew her own gun and immediately returned fire, striking and killing her 25-yr-old attacker.

The woman was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

It’s unknown if the woman had a permit to carry, but as Missouri is a Constitutional Carry state she wouldn’t be required to obtain one.

Homicide detectives were on the scene at the 7-11, located in the 500 block of Bates Street, which reopened for business just two hours later.
