Bowling Green, Kentucky — A Kentucky man was abruptly awoken at night when four men kicked down the door to his home.
Immediately grabbing his gun, the homeowner managed to shoot several shots at the thugs, scaring them off.

It was later reported that one of the thugs was hit, turning himself in to a hospital.
In the video, you can see a muzzle flash from the homeowner’s gun as the intruders begin to head down a hallway.

The thugs were armed as well, and managed to get a shot off.
The homeowner was hit in the right hand, and was escorted to the local hospital when police responded minutes later.
The Warren County, Kentucky Sheriff’s office released video footage taken from a camera inside the home.
It is quite humerus to watch how quick these thugs can run from a guy who can knows how to use a gun.

If caught, the thugs will face charges of attempted murder and first degree burglary.
Without a firearm, one can only guess what might have happened.
There were reports of other individuals inside the home, as screams are heard from other rooms.
Police take minutes to respond, while a firearm can take seconds.
This is just another example of a good guy with a gun stopping a group of bad guys.
