BOYCOTT? Country Singer Eric Church Blames NRA for Las Vegas Shooting

Has country music singer Eric Church just “Dixie Chicked” himself?

Maybe it’s time for a boycott?

Second Amendment supporters and country music fans on social media are on FIRE right now, after Eric Church blamed the NRA for last year’s Las Vegas shooting; a shooting our federal government has yet to truly divulge all the details of.

Speaking like a true left-winger, always prefacing attacks on our gun rights with, “I support the Second Amendment”, Church rattled off a list of anti-gun demands that make even the most ardent gun-grabbers blush.

It’s almost like he got his talking points directly from Barack Obama or Eric Holder.

Maybe he did?

Church admits in the “Rolling Stone” interview that he voted for “Obama in 2008”.

In his emotionally-driven interview typical of an unhinged leftist, Church rattles off numerous inaccuracies, including that the Las Vegas madman had “21 AKs”.

“Nobody should have 21 AKs and 10,000 rounds of ammunition and we don’t know who they are.”

Even more troubling is what Church mentions at the end of that quote.

“And we don’t know who they are.”

That brings us back to the left-wing wish list for gun control.

So-called “universal background checks”.  This is code language for “national gun registration”.

This is the crown jewel of the gun-grab wish list.

Creating gun registration gives the government a powerful tool over those who own firearms — because the government know who they are and where they live.

It also eliminates “private sales” between individuals, thus doing away with your legal ability to sell a firearm to your family members or friend without asking government for permission.

New “mental health mandates”.

This is a nice way of saying that government bureaucrats get to decide who is mentally ill and who isn’t and whoever they deem “crazy”, goes in an anti-gun database.

Closing the so-called “gun show loophole”.  This is a slick way of saying eliminating gun shows.

It’s all about shutting down private sales between individuals.  Again, giving power to government track all sales.

You may remember the last time a country music “star”, Tim McGraw, spouted off about which guns you can and cannot have . . .

We highlighted that here — and McGraw took a massive beating.

Country music fans overwhelmingly support our Second Amendment rights, and oppose the Church / Obama gun control agenda.

Perhaps it’s time for Second Amendment supporters and country music fans to boycott Eric Church?
