Man Tried to Rob a Brooklyn Gun Shop, Gets Shot

(Brooklyn, NY) – When this criminal decided to rob a gun store, he didn’t really think through his plan very well. After entering the store and asking to see a gun, the suspect was asked for identification from the store owner.

The suspect then sprayed mace at the owner, smashed a display case, and picked up two guns as he turned to run. The store owner immediately shot the suspect with his own gun, wounding him.

The suspect left a blood trail leading away from the business, but police were unable to follow it to find the suspect. The store owner was not seriously harmed in the incident.

It is unknown if the store owner will face charges, given the aggressively anti-gun laws of New York City and their lack of a state-wide Stand-Your-Ground law.
