(Akron, IA) – Donald Trump Jr. spent part of the weekend hunting with Iowa Congressman Steve King.
King’s annual tradition of hunting with celebrities, politicians, and Presidential candidates is part of his annual fundraiser.
The long-time Western Iowa Congressman said that Trump Jr. was a “great shot, and just as good as any of the Presidential candidates I’ve hosted in the past.”
The outspoken Trump defender also weighed in on Robert Mueller’s plan to unveil criminal charges related to his ongoing probe of Russian involvement in the 2016 elections.
“There’s no substance, and that would have to start in the House Judiciary Committee…and Steve King would have something to say about that,” King stated.
Previous guests of Congressman King have included Senator Ted Cruz, former Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, Senator Rick Santorum, and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee.
