(Dayton, OH) – Police are still trying to ascertain all the facts surrounding a Tuesday evening shooting at a home in central Ohio. That’s where a resident called 911 looking for help, saying that 53-yr-old Darron Orr was trying to force his way into her home.
While the resident and the suspect knew each other, the details of their connection are unclear.
However, authorities have confirmed that Orr has a lengthy criminal record and was connected to other serious crimes in Dayton, and is possibly a suspect in a break-in attempt at this same location a day before this incident.
While Ohio does not have Stand-Your-Ground law, it is a Castle Doctrine state.
