(Madison County, WV) – A homeowner in the 23000 block of Ashton Upland Rd. told police that an unknown man made unspecified threats against him and stormed into his home just before noon.
According to the resident, once the suspect made entry into the home he feared for his safety and shot the suspect once. The suspect fled the scene and was found by police in a nearby mobile home with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
The suspect was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and no charges have been filed at present against either party.
